French Menu ideas, what sounds good to you?

Starting Next Tuesday, our next 3 week challenge begins

It might look like appreciation of French Cuisine and it is,

but with a twist.

The main focus is actually on portion control

Gasp!!

Why would I want to do that

when I am planning to make some of the most delicate,

scrumptious, buttery foods ever??

Easy, it is so good, so delicate, so buttery, so... heavenly

that I EAT!

I mean eat for 4.

Then I call the family to the table.

Someday,

when all my dreams come true

(hello little stone cottage),

I will be one of those typical grandma types.

Short and extra soft.

Right now I am short and only kinda soft.

Don't laugh.

I still have a lap.

So until I am allowed the luxury of having lived a long enough life

to be able to eat everything smothered in butter,

I still need to see my toes on a normal basis.

Listed below are the dishes up for selection.

None of them seem difficult,

I have made a handful of them with positive results.

They are not made with Rabbit, Horse, Quail, or Venison.

I haven't been able to locate a store that sells those on the shelf.

I would love to have other options. Send me your recipes!!

I have listed, 27 recipes, for 21 days.

Just a couple are desserts, which just means we are having leftovers

or verging from the "French" theme for the main course.

My only problem, I only need 19.

We are already planning on eating at friends (carne asada night!!!)

and celebrating National Margarita Day with a Play Date

and an early Cinco de Mayo Celebration.

Also 4th Sunday Dinners with the in-laws throw a wrench in the dinning plan.

HELP ME DECIDE!!

Post a comment on what sounds good enough to eat,

or give me your own recipe to try.

If you submit a comment you will be entered to win a prize.

You have till Monday at Noon. 2/7/2011

Disclaimer:

we are broke and poor,

so it might just be a delicious dessert or the makings to create it yourself.
